Acadia Serenity wins a 4pt specialty major

Since the National Serena has been out winning points and closing in on the championship.   This past weekend she was Winners' Bitch at the Harrisburg Shetland Sheepdog Club specialty for a 4 pt. major.  She needs 1 major and 1 single point to complete the championship.  (photo is from the ASSA National- not from this specialty)

New *HSAs* Acadia Infinite Spirit, *HSAs*

On Saturday Kathy and Finn completed the Herding Started title on the A course with Sheep (HSAs) with Style! Finn was 1st place in his class with a score of 88 from judge Rusty Jeffers (pictured)- Finn even beat out a Border Collie for the top honor.

On Sunday Kathy kept Finn in the Herding Started class and he again qualified with a score of 85 and a third place win.

Acadia's Catch Me If You Can, RN (RN = rally novice) aka "Lucy" is the daughter of Ch. Heart Lake Acadia Le Roi de Coeur (Charlie) x Acadia Peace of Mind (Dove). She is only 8 months old and she completed the RN with a 1st place and 2 3rd places. Congratulations!!! You go Lucy and LeaAnne!!

ASSA 2012: Acadia Serenity- 1st in Bred-by-Exhibitor class

Acadia Serenity "Serena" was the only one I took to the 2012 ASSA National. One person commented, "you are putting all your eggs in one basket"- but when you win your class, it is a good egg!!! Since she won, we got to go back in to the Winners Bitch class. The pink suit was the Bred-by class, the white suit was Winners.

C-ATCH Acadia Cierra Like A Rock, RN,HT,HCT-s,NA,AXJ,NF,CGC,TDI,VC

12 pts. 1 major- almost a CH.VCX and the greatest "heart" dog of all times, there will never be another "Nicky".

Nicky was owned and loved, and loved, and LOVED by Chet and Merrylee Malanowski. Chet Loved Nicky more than any other dog they have ever had. I got to share 2 summers with Nicky, which Chet reluctantly agreed to, but complained that he missed, "his Nicky. I loved how much Chet loved Nicky. Chet took Nicky EVERYWHERE with him. I could not have asked for any more love and admiration for one of my dogs. Thank you Chet and Merrylee for the life you gave him. I am SO SORRY it was too short. My heart aches for you. Although you are miles and miles and miles away, I hope you feel my heartfelt hug and shared tears.
