Grandgables Acadia Accolade wins a Specialty

Allie is in Canada visiting her breeders Guy Jeavons and Mark McMillian. This past weekend Allie won a specialty show under the respected judge Joe Molloy. Mr. Molloy said that he loved her head profile with correct stop, he loved her neck and of course her lovely movement.

She won two days, the second day was also a breeder judge, Leslie Rogers.

Both judges commented that she is a VERY valuable bitch. Thank you Guy and Mark for sharing her with me. I think she is valuable too!

Office Humor

Sometimes Rocky comes to the office and he has learned that my boss throws his lunch in the trash. I brought a lifesized stuffed animal sheltie in to the office- and my boss grabbed it, set this picture up, and said, "this is more life-like"

I have been showing "Lainey" for Gloria and Ken Hansen, Belaire Shelties and this past weekend she won the final 3 pts needed to complete the AKC championship requirements. What a thrill! Lainey finished at the Chester Valley Kennel Club show under judge Mr. David Bolus. Not only did she finish with a major, she did it on Gloria's Birthday. Lainey knows what sort of gifts we dog people always ask for! Good girl!

Show wins and good neighbors

All breeders of show dogs love to report about wins and successes- and certainly I am no exception. I am THRILLED to hear that a dog I have bred is successful in competition because it tells me that I have been successful in my attempts to breed shelties that uphold our breed standards.

I also am THRILLED when I get emails such as the one I did today from Pat about "Cameron". Pat reported that Cameron has become the neighborhood "ambassador to the lonely" and has really become "a special blessing to those in the neighborhood." This type of success is also important to me and I just LOVE to hear how these guys touch our lives and the lives of others.
Keep the successes coming Please!
