SSC of Greater Baltimore Best In Sweeps March 16

I had a lovely time judging Sweepstakes for the SSC of Greater Baltimore, Inc. on March 16, 2007. I had a nice entry of 29 puppies and the winter storm that decided to blow in this weekend only kept a few of them at home. I had lovely puppies to choose from and my choice for Best in Sweeps went to a lovely bitch from the 12-18 month old class Darmil Twice Kissed sired by Jade Mist Destination x Ch. Jade Mist Time After Time. She was bred by Heidi Jacobson and Carol Howell and is owned by Heidi Jacobson. She was shown by Jennifer Milani.

Runner up to Best in Sweeps also came out the 12-18 month puppy bitch class and was the lovely Sunebank Tickle Me Pink sired by Ch. Shamont Back to Basics x Sunebank Caerleon On Fifth bred and owned by Wendy Mount and Carolyn Vack. She was shown by Zana Friend.

I had a great time and the to the exhibitors- thanks for bringing me nice puppies and to the club, thank you for asking me to judge and for your Wonderful hospitality!

Champions listed for March

How exciting to go to Bob Miller's listing of the March 2007 AKC Awards http://www.barloshelties.com/ and see that Acadia Shelties are the first two listings- MACH3 Molly and Ch. Genna. Looking at the pedigrees you can see that Molly's mother, Tucket, and Genna's father, Jamie, are littermates. I was proud of Molly and Genna at the time of their accomplishments and I am proud of them all over again seeing them listed on this site.

Brianne wins 2nd major

Sunburst Bright Lights "Brianne" won her second major at the Scottsdale Dog Fanciers Association Dog show under Breeder/judge Mr. Randall Sheets. Brianne is the daughter of Ch. Acadia's Bright Idea, RA, NA, NAJ "Payson" and Ch. Sunburst Acadia Here I Come. She is owned by Sharon Crawford, Sunburst shelties. Congratulations Brianne and Sharon.
