Ch. Anna has a litter of 6 puppies

Ch. Acadia's Rare Treat has had a beautiful litter of six for her new owners at Starlight Shelties, Rachel and Filaberto. They are very excited about this litter. They report that all of the puppies are beautiful, healthy, happy and that Anna is a great mom. We are thrilled for them and hope that there is at least one really special puppy in this litter that will become the next champion for Starlight shelties and provide them with a strong pedigree to build on.

Jewel Has a New Family

Jewel has found a new family to love and spoil her. She loves attention and is happy to have 4 new people to rub her belly and cuddle. Jewel is a very special dog and would like to suggest to her new family that she would also be perfect for those in need such as children with disablities, shut-ins, or the elderly and she thinks that giving back to the community though love and caring is the best way to be a valued member of society.

Ewe Win Katahdins & Acadia Shelties

We raise registered Katahdin sheep in addition to the shelties. Katahdins come in all colors and although the majority of ours are white, I enjoy the various colors- solid brown being my favorite. We don't normally bring the sheep into the house, but this little ram lamb needed a little extra assistance, so I took the opportunity to take a picture of him and one of Jewel's babies. The puppies are 7 weeks old today.
